Are you an experienced Food Technologist / Product Developer looking for a hands-on R&D role with greater customer exposure?

Join an international food ingredients business in the Netherlands, developing functional ingredient solutions and supporting customer projects across the UK and Europe. You’ll combine practical product development with technical problem solving, innovation and direct customer collaboration.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and optimise ingredient solutions, recipes and applications
• Lead customer development projects from brief through to validation
• Troubleshoot formulation and product performance challenges
• Support customers with technical expertise, including meetings and site visits
• Work with Sales on customer opportunities and new developments
• Research and evaluate new ingredients and application opportunities
• Collaborate across R&D, Quality, Procurement, Sales and Marketing

What We’re Looking For

• Food Science, Food Technology or related background
• Around 3-6 years’ product development / applications experience
• Meat and/or savoury experience preferred
• Bakery, dairy or plant-based experience also relevant
• Strong knowledge of ingredient functionality and food processing
• Practical problem-solving and project management skills
• Confident communicating with customers and cross-functional teams
