General Manager – UK

Lead an established UK business supplying the global flavour and fragrance industry.

This is a rare opportunity to lead an established business with ambitious growth plans, combining commercial leadership with operational excellence. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the UK business, leading an experienced team whilst working closely with global colleagues across Europe, Asia and the Americas.

What You’ll Do

As General Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the performance of the UK operation, providing leadership across commercial activities, manufacturing and business operations.

The role offers significant autonomy and requires someone equally comfortable developing customer relationships, supporting operational improvements and leading teams on the shop floor.

• Leading and developing an established UK team
• Driving commercial performance across sales and purchasing activities
• Managing manufacturing, blending and repacking operations
• Providing leadership across Quality, Laboratory and Production functions
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and service levels
• Building capability within the team through coaching and development
• Working collaboratively with international leadership to support continued growth

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on leader with the credibility to operate across both commercial and operational functions.

• Previous General Management or Senior Commercial experience
• Background within Flavour & Fragrance, Essential Oils, Natural Ingredients or a closely related ingredients sector
• Strong commercial awareness across sales and purchasing
• Experience leading manufacturing or production environments is a plus
• Collaborative leadership style with a genuine passion for developing people
• Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to implement positive change
